Héroine is a contemporary restaurant founded by Eva Eekman and Michael Schook and co-run by a team from Héro(ines), hidden in the southern wing of Het Industriegebouw: a historical monument in the heart of Rotterdam. The large open space is where simplicity and luxury come together. Guests are invited to enjoy a modern chef’s menu of 4 courses (Sunday to Thursday), 5 or 7 courses, either at the table or at the beautiful bar. The extensive wine list offers a nice mix of conventional and natural wines. The staff is happy to provide advice based on individual preferences in combination with the dishes. The chef’s menu features dishes inspired by cuisines from all over the world. During the weekend, a 4 and 5 course lunch menu is also served. The wooden and red interior, combined with the greenery, the open kitchen, the high industrial ceiling, and the artwork on the walls, gives the place a unique, luxurious 70s atmosphere. Héroine is suitable for business or pleasure, short or long enjoyment; it is a venue for almost any occasion.
